Most areas in the Western Cape have strong underground water sources, making it easy to install a wellpoint that provides more than enough water for garden and household use.
Water pressure depends on your specific site conditions. In most cases, a single wellpoint provides sufficient pressure, but if needed, we can install a second wellpoint or add a buffer tank to ensure optimal flow for your irrigation system.
You can choose the location that suits you best. While there are a few minor placement restrictions, we generally install the wellpoint wherever it’s most convenient in your garden. It’s ideal to place it near a power source for the pump. Unlike boreholes, wellpoints draw water from the upper water table, which is widespread across most areas — so there’s no need to search for a specific underground source.
Most wellpoints are installed and fully operational within just 2 to 3 hours. We only need access to your property and a garden hose for water supply. Our compact, portable equipment fits easily through side gates and narrow spaces, ensuring a quick, clean, and hassle-free installation.
Nope — no hidden fees at all. The only ongoing cost is the small bit of electricity to run your pump, which works out to less than R1 per hour with the pump we install.
